After seeing your picture and your moniker, I just had to take a peek at your profile. I really liked your thoughts about the site as I've found the same things to be true. Back to your poem, I loved the content, spacing of the words and the truth in them, to be powerful. I don't have your faith but I certainly can see a truth when it's presented in such a beautiful way. And, by the way, His Grayness, I like the name!

The poem is deeply moving in its emotion. I can see the poet on the rocks contemplating loss and feeling a reinvigoration of things to come. It is a visual poem.

Hi, Vance,
"Passions Field" is an excellent poem. It has good figurative language "the steaming rocks of passion's field" a metaphor. Its rhyme is simple and good;. Its structure helps with understanding the meaning. It flows well but I believe it could be improved by shorter lines.
