Yep, absolute truth. God always takes the quiet way, and is often found on paths of solitude, and gratitude. Wonderful observations Mr. Vance!! Blessings....

Comment from Kerry Foley Robinson
This is a beautiful and very profound write, Vance. I love your descriptions in this line:
"My eyes reach out to seek a place where I might, but a calm and soothing sonnet yield
And yet the wafting steam of desire brings only fixed attention to this tangled mind now sealed'
Wonderfully done! ~Kerry

Once again, Vance, you have outdone yourself. I know this poem is a year old but it's fresh to me, and it's beautiful. I get the impression this work is based on a life-altering experience that reaffirmed your faith. If so, you are fortunate. Thank you for sharing it.

I really like your rhyme scheme and the rhymes themselves. You really chose your words well. The capitalized GRATITUDE is nice. Too bad you couldn't have one in the first stanza as well. A nice poem.

Your thoughts may waver, but your passion is in the words you write. You give from your heart "For Love exists in GRATITUDE and therein shall yield a bond with GOD that's so very sadly found by few." Well said, a lovely poem. Thank you for sharing your joy.

This speaks about how one makes and keeps growing one's passion, as a practice it is good if passion is chosen deeply by heart and in terms of one's relevance of eligibility; I liked.

It seems human kind so often forget to be grateful for the blessings we get from God. We will ask and He will provide, but let a problem arise and then we grumble and complain. This is nicely written. Patricia

Thank you so much for this great review and stars! I'm sorry to go negative on FS with harsh dialogs rather than the GRATITUDE I truly want to celebrate, but this madness is simply too difficult and wrong to be able to ignore it. I certainly....sincerely appreciate your kind review and generous stars! Blessings! Vance

It is so true, when we are out in nature. . .it just changes everything or sometimes we hope it will. Then you throw in the weather as it changes and a new appreciation of God's power confronts our creativity and gives us a new perspective. I so enjoyed your attempt to find a place to bring forth creativity. . .this usually works for me as well.

Hi, Vance;
Such beautiful words! I do believe and agree with you that there are very few who acknowledge with GRATITUDE the gifts our Creator has bestowed upon them. If we come to Him with prayers of Thanksgiving, we are more blessed than before,
