A good story which I naturally presume is true and I think a sad reflection on how people look upon others who are different in any way. I think it is sad that the church people could not accept this fact, but I am afraid that they are sometimes the worst.

It is true and I did experience it. People are who they are and they all have their story. That is why we write.

The story that you told was a good one, but I think it might have been improved by doing more to bring the reader into the atmosphere by describing the sounds, smells as well as the sights in the restaurant. The actual confrontation was a bit of a disappointment after the build up to it, so perhaps tell a bit more about the reactions to it? I'd like to know about people's expressions, comments and so on.
I agree with you as to your final statements, but I think the point you were trying to make gets a bit lost and could do with reinforcing. Linking the story into your position at the end would strengthen it.

Bravo, I am glad that you were brave enough to write this story. I was in the Navy for 24 years and when we were in port in China both men and women used the same bathroom and I didn't really care.

So many countries are laughing at us now. The United States believe it has to be two distinct bathrooms. Uni sex bathrooms have been around for years. You simply monitor you children or grand chidren and make sure they are safe. O h heavens

they have stalls that say unisex so why not use your own caution when you have children to be with them when using the bathroom, common sense tells people always be on the safe side od everything in life it can happen anywhere not just the bathroom. do not let your children wander off alone.

Hmm, interesting story, and told from only one perspective, but that is your choice. You POV came over well and you used safe and PC-approved characters as the bad people, so there would be no backlash. A well made perspective. This should do well in the contest.

this story is actually true. I remember it well. I liked both groups of people i just didn't like how one group judged the other. But as you said . we all have our POV

BRAVO,BRAVO for you! They are people and they are who they are. I am gay and even I didn't always understand transgender people, but I research it and listened and learned. No one wants to be a transgender but it must be very difficult living inside the wrong body.
