Thank you for sharing such a sweet tribute to womanhood. It's so true - one cannot live without the other. That is how we were created - and the miracle of birth is evidence of this. Unlike worms, ,man cannot reproduce by himself. So - let's just enjoy being two parts that make a complete one. Well done.

Excellent poem! Your heart's in the right place, and your tribute to women laudable, Jay, if a smidgen behind the times. 'Equal' now is in Woman's rear-view mirror, and, perhaps, soon in ours.

In my opinion, a poem worthy of more than Six Stars - a wonderful and memorable write - I waited till this morning to be able to rate it the "Exceptional" rating it deserves, since my Six Star number was depleted. The rhyming rhythm is flawless and the theme a beautiful tribute to women. Thank you, on behalf of us all...Eve

What a lovely poem, and tribute to women. Few have reached that standard, and in some countries I just can't see it ever happening. I don't understand why. I think it's lovely that you have written this one, and for 'just one old man's opinion', it's worth much more than most who are younger. Bless your heart! :) Sandra xx

"She Is Just A Woman", is an extremely well-written and delightfully descriptive piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. This is a six, but unfortunately I only have fives left. I look forward to seeing your next post.

HELLO JAYBIRD1: I like this posting that you have expressed here. What you have said here holds truth. And all of us men should think like you. After our God created man, He gave him everything on earth. But then He gave man a greater gift...that surpassed all earthly worth. God said: "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him." GENESIS chapter 2 at verses 18-21-22-23-24-&-25. I believe you have read this before,Jaybird1. But when I read these verses in this order...they really bring your posting to the light. Thank you for sharing, my brother. God bless you and yours. Cordially: rhonnie69.

There are many things I dislike about this modern world, but one thing I applaud, women, who have always been equal to men, I say that advisedly, men and women are wired quite differently, but, in my view, were created to be the perfect fit, (one flesh) without that unity, both men and women are doomed not to be blessed by the oneness God demands. Beautifully and wonderfully wise in its design, rhyming language and thrust, well dine, blessjngd, Roy

Thought you were pushing your luck taking on this subject. A phrase like "just a woman" , didn't get you many points to start with. However, you quickly redeemed yourself with "surpass the scope of men", "crashed our manly throne", and "awaits...her equal civil right" got you out of trouble very fast.
Good job.

Wow. What a poignant and powerful message about the worth of women, equality, and love. Your rhyming pattern and tempo flowed very smoothly. What a joy to read.
