Beautifully written. Your poem was filled with imagery and such excellent use of metaphors. I like how you describe the waters as not only a place that brings back forgotten dreams, a safe haven, but also something that holds the speaker down and challenges him/her (as life naturally challenges us). Then you open up the door to hope with, "...just not today." Very well done.
