Excellent comments from Cody. The Mayor is typical elected official. He expects others to do the work while he grabs the glory. He pressures the Sheriff to bring the case of the Assassin. Now that Daniels finds Burgmeyer dead, he'll have to start looking for another suspect. Burgmeyer was left-handed, and the Assassin is right-handed. Daniels uses good sense in not being so quick to consider the case wrapped up. His thoughts are on adopting Cody, so he shows his devotion to the boy. Excellent story. In your second paragraph, you don't need quotation marks. By using that, that makes it an indirect statement. judi
