The very title of this work sums up just about all of my feelings regarding it. The theme of loss in this poem is deeply touching, and connects the reader to the speaker effortlessly. The mournful feeling of grief and the difficulty of moving on in life is something that we all can relate with, and is delivered expressively through your skill with poetic craft. Although our loved ones may pass on, our memories of them keep them close at heart, and in such a way we come to terms with ourselves and the past. Thus, our love is eternally sown.
This is a beautifully written work. Excellent job!

It's refreshing to read a sonnet that flows right from the
heart that is not forced or contrived. Okay...I picked 2 lines
that seemed to especially stand out to me:
"Our progeny 'twill show the world we cared
and help to keep depressing gloom at bay"

You expressed it well to show that you are now on your own physically but emotionally your dearest is still there "Another dawn, another day to greet,...Within my heart you linger, ever near." You know, Sir Walter Raleigh's wife carried his embalmed head every where she went. Think about that "linger ever near". I enjoyed reading yours. Cheers and Respectfully.
