This flowed very nicely and I feel as if it definitely covered the essence of arrogance in a profound way. Good job and good luck in the contest.

Well...no...not when you put it that way. How could they? I mean, it would be foolhardy and outright asinine to do so. Wouldn't it?

You know, I feel they should simply dispense with the formalities and declare you the winner of this contest. That would be more than fair, don't you think?

Best of luck, lol. :)

I like your question at the end of your poem. If you question your arrogance then you probably are not arrogant. Well written and your poem should do well in the contest.

Hi DonandVicki. Yes I wonder if a truly arrogant person would ask this question. I think not Ha Ha. I was thrilled with a second place for this contest and appreciate all support given to me and again Thank you for your review Cheers +++ Christine 😃

Very well expressed from the view point of an arrogant person. Of course, they are the most intelligent, the most articulate, and the very best.

Ha Ha, Well yes they are in their minds anyway LOL . I had fun thinking this up from how I though an arrogant person may think and I am pleased with the great response this has had. Also I am thrilled to have come second in the contest and Thank you for reading and reviewing this also. Many Cheers Christine😃

LOL - exactly the thoughts I would expect an arrogant blowhard to think!!

"Surely not!. . .surely, they are intimidated by my natural superiority"
LMAO

Nicely done :-)

This is an unique way of doing the acrostic from what i have so far seen. you have done it in full sentence form, and that turns out much nicer to read. I also like your humor displayed. Excellent write! Tony Bronk

Quite fabulous, I must admit. This is very funny and wise and may be my very favorite one. I am convinced this will garner a large number of votes with it's humor and that great art to go with.

Acrostics can be more difficult than they look but you did well with this one about arrogance. Lovely presentation. Good luck in the contest.

You use the form very effectively to create the voice of arrogance. This is wi9tty and effective.

Am I
Really
Riddled with an (The poem begins with a rhetorical question that draws the reader in. The alliteration of 'really riddled' give emphasis to the phrase.)
Overbearing pride? Surely not, but (Good use of line division here. The word 'Overbearing' begins the line and because of the pause that proceeds it, is given additional force. The brevity of 'Surely not' helps establish the arrogant voice.)
Given my superior
Analytical view of almost every subject. I believe that (Do you need a comma rather than a full stop after subject?)
No-one could accuse me of being
Condescending or exhibiting an
Egotistical assumption of MY own Self Importance. Could they? (The length of the sentence that concludes here, helps establish the insensitivity of the deludes speaker.)

This is a highly effective poem. Thanks for sharing it with us. Nigel.

Hi Nigel. Thank for your detailed review and explaination of why you thought it highly effective and I have changed the full stop to a comma as yes it is a running sentence rather than a full stop. so Many thanks for that. Having fun with these prompts and always appreciate a review and have a great day. Cheers
