The little matter of murder doesn't weigh heavily on Taylor. He's more concerned that Cody trashed his house. Cody has nailed him, finding the evidence, but he's put himself at risk. The desperate Taylor threatens to kill Cody and his swimming buddies. Sheriff Taylor is on the scene, and he and other law enforcement officials are there to capture the Astatula Assassin. They take down Taylor, but not before he shoots Cody. But our young hero still has a pulse. Great story. Have a wonderful vacation, and best of luck with your next writing project. Happy trails. judi

Brett, I know little about the essence of your book. From the story that I just read it is quite intriguing. I believe that Cody is one of the main characters and I see he has quite a character of his own.
So he got shot by this Taylor, who is the real Estate how Assassin. There is a great deal of fun activities with the boys and then the drama that Cody is facing. Glad the Sheriff put this guy down for good.
I will be a fan from now on,,,,,Jim
