Good one! Yes, very important for a happy life. Caring about others is rewarding and keeps one from being too wrapped up in one's one petty problems. Give a helping hand when you can and it will make you BOTH feel good. I'm surprised more people don't know that. Maybe they never tried it. :)

Well written.Your artwork and background color completed the poem nicely. Your strong words are full of wisdom and they flowed nicely line to line forming a unique rhythm of their own.

I love some of your original phrasing here. It's so refreshing to see something said from an entirely new angle or perspective. This is full of positive and excellent advice throughout. What a caper to end it, the most perfect advice, "Enjoy your own reflection". YES! mikey

Thank you Michael. The challenges you all ( Yes I live in the south) give me have opened up my eyes to so many wonderful ideas. I am even attempting a novel. How fun is that.

Well done acrostic poem. Excellent message to everyone, not just graduates. I love it all, but I think my favorite stanza is the last one...all four lines. "Kindness is its own reward" is just what I needed to read. I am strong for the people in my life, who need my support right now. Sometimes I feel like I have nothing left for myself. But kindness is given out of love, and I need to love my own reflection. I was searching for hope and your poem gave some to me. I am grateful.
Peace, Jesse

Thank you Jessie, Now my heart wants to comfort you. My life has been a whirlwind , up and down, happiness , tragedy, Just like every human on this planet. This site allows me to tell it out loud. I'll think good thoughts for you tonight.

It's odd, you say "...like every human on this planet.", and yet I feel so alone with this feeling, like I'm the only one who suffers. I appreciate you thinking good thoughts for me tonight. I will try to relax into your comfort.

Hi, Judy. I really think you have the winner here. tis is so very well written. It is inspiring to say the least:

"Treat the lonely ones with kindness
Help the ones in need
Always call your Mom and Dad
Not just on Christmas ever."

Bravo! Bob

Thank you so much. I love these potlatch challenges on Saturdays. They always make me try something different.

The first advice on your poem is the change either the blue font
or the background, as it is almost unreadable
Which is a shame because it is a fine poem
with some very good advice
Choose carefully
The answers you seek are more often found within yourself
than out side, though advice can be helpful
A solid poem with a fine message for the new graduates
Excellent picture
Well done
Good luck in the contest

Thank you so much and I will definitely try to make it easier to read. I sometimes have trouble reading these too. What was I thinking. Thank you for the suggestion. It will be taken seriously.

One tiny typo - Christmas ever...

This is a good acrostic. You have chosen the title phrase carefully, I see, picking one that has exactly four 4-letter words, enabling you to write rhymed quatrains. I say 'rhymed' although perhaps 'half-rhymed' is a better description of them - nice anyway.

The advice is sound, especially the last line, and the poem flows nicely.

Great advice in this lovely acrostic. This is the sort of thing that could become a wall poster, so we can take it in before we begin each day's journey.

Nicely done :)

Thank you so much. I took the potlach challenge and truly enjoyed writing it. The other ones written today are so well done. I would like to put them all in a book and give them to my seniors who graduate in June.

I am a choir director. Our students graduate in one month. I took the Potlach challenge so now there are lots of graduation advice acrostics on fan story. And they are all great.
