Hi, RP. Refresshing write here. different than the usual fare on this site. I liked this stanza in particular:

"Observing scenes we feel or dream
It hints us what needs to be done,
And also flinging the bright beam
Lays bare nasty notions to shun."

Bravo! Great job, my friend. Bob

Intuition is a very niceFaith Poetry Contest contest entry . In this literary piece, you extol the virtues of that innate trait that so often lies dormant beneath the surface of the human spirit. You remind us that we are not at the mercy of the winds of adversity. You challenge us to engage the part of our psyche that wants to warn us of danger and facilitate streams of success. Thanks for the exultation. Thanks for sharing. May God bless you!

Excellent Poem! The author's words are interesting, descriptive and thought provoking. The reader pondered on the words of this poem. Thank you for the author's notes. The artwork is perfect and compliments the words and theme of this poem.

I truly believe in the message here. How many times I have blundered to look back and remember that intuition had warned me and I had ignored it. You have set your message to perfect rhyme.

Like this poem. My intuition came into play when we made the decision to purchasea home in a certain neighborhood part of the city. I felt I was very influenced by intuition when I would hire a person, etc. The poem is well written and the rhythm and rhyme move it along nicely. Good luck in the contest. Kat

A good entry for the faith prompt. I had to read this through several times but I do seen now that we need faith coupled with intuition. Very well done.

Well done. I hope you win the contest.
My mother used to say that intuition is a higher intelligence. I know she was right. Your poem bears that out. You rhyming is excellent and the poem just flows.

You have a most interesting poem, well thought
out with for the most part has a good flow. I noticed
that you used a strict 8 syllable count in constructing
this and that might account for some of your word
choices which caused some choppiness in your
cadence. I noodled with your poem a bit, just a few
suggestions, I hope you don't mind.

Also, let your line breaks work for you;
you need to delete the commas and periods at the end
of your lines. It is not necessary to capitalize the first
letter of every line especially if it is a connected thought
to the previous line (as if it is a sentence cut in half)

Being a contest entry--I didn't want to knock
down on the rating...If you make changes and wish for me to revise my rating; please contact me and I will re-review your poem. Best of luck with your contest. Lora

I enjoyed this poem and it is a great contest entry. I think you did an outstanding job with this piece. One stanza truly resonates with me at this time:

In its tune if we play our role
Having full trust like a true fan,
None can deprive us of the goal
Pursued with a wisely framed plan.

Good luck in the contest.

Wishing you all the best-
Bill
