I can't believe what a snoop you were, LOL. Well, I don't have daughters and maybe I would do the same. What is a nail head diamond? I never heard that term. OMG - what a choice in videos for a father-in-law. Can't wait to see what the next choice is. Hugs, Lou

I was comparing the size of the diamond to the size of a nail head LOL. Frank has five of them embedded in a gold ring. Personally, I like me and flashy.

Aside from having to be at the beck and call of hubby all day, I took two days to find and buy a new car--well, not new, a 2013
Hyundai Elantra Limited Edition. Exhausting and I didn't get the safety features I wanted simply because Frank is too physically tired to traipse all over town looking for the best deal. We did it one day and I could see that I'd have to do the footwork myself. Fortunately a car dealer sponsored a four day sale at Walmarts fifteen minutes away. I found the car, the salesman drove it to our house for Frank to test drive. He loved it, but still had to get away from the TV to go back and sign the deal.

You lead a very drama filled life, wouldn't you agree, Shari? I mean, I avoid drama in my life like a germophobe would avoid the Bubonic Plague. If someone wishes to create drama, I exist, post haste, stage left. I don't care if it's my daughter, son, a close relative....if they wanna gossip, or stir up unneeded drama, I let them know, in no uncertain terms, that I could care less hearing about so-and-so's marital woes, or who is cheating on whom, or anything else of the kind, and they can peddle that shit somewhere else.

It's one of the primary reasons I stay off of Facebook.

"They love him," his wife says. "One even sticks his arm through the bars and shakes Jeff's hand. Guess they recognize their own kind." She giggles.....Yeah...I'd be giggling too if I were you, Nichole...

While daughter and I finally shared quality time, Jeff scoured his movie collection and picked one of his favorites. The Manson Family (1973) is a cross between fictional story and documentary. The film recreates the crimes of a hippie cult group led by Charlie Manson. F............I can't say as I've ever seen that film. I'll have to be sure to look it up, LOL.

Thanks for the tip, Shari.

Yet another good chapter, with more "drama" looming large on the horizon. I don't see how you put up with it all and managed to retain your sanity.

Sounds to be as if you had plenty of drama with your ex-wife and near death experience. It took me a long time to learn how to avoid conflict gracefully. When I think what I should have done in the next chapter, I could kick myself. I felt as if I were letting Jeff get away with murder. LOL

It happens to the best of us, Shari. Sometimes we simply can't help ourselves, heh-heh.

Shari, how are you doing? I suppose Frank's condition is getting
worse as you have so little time to write. I pray things will ease up
for you, but being familiar with Alzheimer's I doubt that it will. Please take care of yourself as well.... I sound like somebodies mother, that's because I care.
You have written well the activities of your trip to Nicole's. I enjoy the same animals as you and Nicole. Your son-in-law is quite different isn't he? I am trying to guess his movie choice, probably either cartoons or porn... :-) Well written,
Carolyn

Not cartoons or porn, Caroline. Although human cartoons would describe it. Vulgar too.
Yes, Frank is getting worse, but he's oblivious.
I opened up to my doctor on my biannual check-up and admitted to being very depressed.
He upped my dosage of celexa from 40mg to 60mg, the highest he can give me. It's been a week, but I think the increase is starting to work.
    Thanks for caring.

I started babysitting when the Manson story hit the news. I spent many a terrified night alone with small infants and children listening to the news reports of it. Scared the 'you know what' out of me. Just by looking at him, you can see the insanity in his eyes. I'm actually feeling none too safe tonight. The police Tazarred someone across the street a few hours ago. I have no idea who or why, but my dog keeps barking and it gives me the creeps. Glad you found some time to write, my friend~Debbie

He does look like evil itself. I'm wondering why you watch the news about him if it frightened you so? Hope your dog has stopped barking by now. Maybe the paper will have a story about what happened. Take care. Lock the doors.

A good mini-chapter. That Jeff seems like he would be a hard person to get along with, unless you let him control the situation.

Noisy me cornered Nichole in the master bedroom. [Were you being a nosey, noisy you? LOL, all that followed seemed more consistent with nosey, Hmmmm.]

Yikes!! Trust you to find a serious mistake. Love you for that.
To be honest, my daughter wouldn't be the easiest person to live with either. She's a control freak.

That is pretty scary if Jeff finds those kind of films enjoyable. You have peeked my interest as to what will happen next. Recently in the news Manson's girlfriend was
up for parol. I'll look forward to the next episode.
