LOL, you must be crazy over your girlfriend, Dean. I must say she has weird ways that would send any other Tom, Dick, or Harry running; her incisors, penchant for sucking, and formaldehyde perfume, for example.

Love or lust can make us blind to the obvious as in the case of this narrator. His "whatever" attitude I'm sure is influenced by the late night bedroom tumbles he takes with this strange girl. The bed probably reeks of formaldehyde.

It's a shame his lust/love blinds him to the fact that the moment she's bore or want to do something new her eyes will focus on him!!!

That's where it falls upon his shoulders to ensure that she never gets bored, never needs or wants for anything, and never remains unsatisfied.
Isn't that what all men who care about and love their significant others do, or am I mistaken here?
    Thanks for your comments, Muffins...

Wow, what a gal. Great descriptions. All Dick wants is a sexy 'vamp' with sharp incisors, wandering the woods in her daisy dukes and smelling of formaldehyde. Of course she has to be a horror movie fiend ...

I see Gypsy responded to this. I love this back and forth.
'Dick' got a lot of play in both posts. lol

She reminds me of a blind date I had once. Very well
done, Dean. I had a smile all the way through. Excellent

Thanks, Bill. That was my hope when I wrote it, that it would make people smile.
I'm very happy it did for you.

Hmmm - I didn't know that Gypsy Blue was such a horror aficionado. She is quite nice here on FS - but, she must be a terror in the woods. I'm sure Dick would agree that she might have anterior motives for getting him alone out there.
Great rhyming, and a bit of fun in a totally macabre sort of way. Nice use of word play throughout.

Just because she loves and appreciates horror in no way makes her a bad person, Rose. In fact, she is one of the kindest, most generous members on this entire site, I feel.
Our passions for literature--the genres in which they are categorized--in no way defines who we are as individuals. If I like you and consider you a friend, I'll give you my last dime if you need it much more than I do. I like to be the life of the party, to make people laugh and let down their inhibitions just a bit. But I also happen to love horror, and everything about it.

    Thank you for your comments.
    Enjoy your day...

Gosh - I was not implying that any one is a 'bad' person. Far from it - but the gal in the daisy dukes with a back-full of gore and misery might not be well loved by some.
I meant no disrespect to anyone that's actually alive.
I was only looking at the poem, and not at the person.
    I am a lover, not a fighter.

Kind of kinky poem about this bad bad girlfriend. Definitely don't think that she's my type though. I'll try to stay out of her woods while out on a hike.

Those bad, bad girls can be so, so, very, very good, especially when they are at their very worst. Thanks for another of your fine poem and picture combination. Makes a fellow want to sneak a little pinch. Great job. :-)

Your story line is interesting as is the music to build our expectations. Your sense of humor is soundly built-in to a raucous display of sexuality.

Okay, if I don't use genius to describe your work, can I still say--entertaining?
Because you're a genius when it comes to putting your entertainment together. Poems are just a bonus.

Hahaha, sure, Jimmy. Entertaining sounds great.
That's really all i try to do, make the things I write a bit different and entertaining.
Sometimes I'm successful while other times I can hardly get anyone to go to my portfolio and read anything I've written unless my name's on it.
    I often wonder about that...
    Thank YOU for reading this.
