Smile mermaids so cute and so natural of how you told how small the squirrels are in Florida.

My daughter lives in Florida and when she comes to visit us here in Vermont notices how nice and plump the cute squirrels are in Vermont.

We have so many squirrels in our neighborhood, and they're always a pleasure to watch. Great phrase, New England nut hoarders. Very descriptive. It's interesting about the smaller size of squirrels in Florida. The reference to seeing a twinkle in the squirrels' eyes is great. The ones I see always seem to be having fun, so they surely have that twinkle. judi

And the ones up North are even different. I think the cold keeps them tiny.
Very nicely done in free verse of the run in with the creatures of nature.

I imagine that the squirrels near Disney are pretty well-acquainted with humans! They probably have a lot of contact with them! hahaha So this is a smaller size? Are you sure it's not a chipmunk?
