Very cute and funny with a perfect presentation. Great new idea for the category. LOL. Rhymes are good and never detract, just add, to the story.

I love it! Prosetry, brilliant, we must have it! It would solve a lot of writers dilemmas as to where to put their work. I love your poem, really imaginative and very clever. I'm not sure whether this should be in poetry of prose, though, LOL!! xsx Sandra

Well this is definitely poetry with rhyme:) not free verse, not prose.
Write what you want, in the style you want and don't pay attention to what others think!

It is very good free verse. That is your category! Most people on here claim to be poets. Quite the joke from what I see being written. I like the artwork, this poor fellow is just hovering in the middle. Keep writing and the hell with these not pickers.

Prosetry!! Love it. I write free verse too, and on occasion my poetry slips on over to hang out with prose. Well written, I enjoyed reading this. Thanks for sharing this fine verse!! Chris

Prosetry! Oh yes. I love it. Occasionally a piece crops up that purports to be free verse but the is nothing poetic about it. Essentially it is a piece of prose that the writer has chopped into equal length lines and stanzas, usually of 4 lines. But it doesn't read like poetry. It has no poetry within it.
Now I know what it is definitely. That is prosetry, but when I use the the term I will say, "This piece is, as jusylee72 would say, prosetry." Would you mind me saying that?
Mind you this little piece is a nice bit of light verse. I love the last line.

Well written. Your words flow line to line combing and forming their own unique rhythm and coming together to convey the message of the poem to the reader. Your choice of artwork and color background complete the poem quite well.
