Resurrection means a new beginning .. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. There is good imagery.

Thanks so much, Charlie. Yes, resurrection is a term that applies to more than just one major event. It happens every day.

Oh boy, this is nice. It is simple, concise with no wasted words. You paint a compact picture of hope and faith at Easter time.

I only found one spag. This is the correct way to spell "resurrection." You should eliminate the second letter "C."

Thank you for sharing your talents which are full of promise.

    Hi, Sis Cat

I so appreciate your very encouraging review. Most kind of you.

I have corrected that very embarrassing spag. After the original posting, it was suggested I change the font. Every dang time I do an edit on a posted piece, I miss something. Sheesh!

Cool photos of the lillies and ladies. Great colors of the resurrection of life.
You used some alliteration with poised, promised. Fun write and glad you are trying to write for the poem goals. flylikeaneagle

Hi, Bev

= Awesome artwork to complement your haiku.
= Gosh, I just got so much going, I haven't had much time to post much poetry or short stories.
= Love the colors in this. Nicely composed and presented.

Lovely short haiku to start the month of celebrating poetry. Beautiful artwork and good alliteration in the second line. An excellent Easter message. Well done.

Blessings

    Hi, Debbie

I am inspired to do more poetry, so there'll be more coming. Kind of going back to my roots.

Thank you so much for always being so kind and encouraging. You are a very gracious lady!

I think that it doesn't matter what kind of picture of a flower that you used or if you used any picture at all. Your short haiku stands alone and the blooming of any flower is a statement for a resurection.

Poetry Month? Hell- I must have missed a meeting. I just finished giving up macadamia nuts for lent and already we have to do what? Is this a feast month or do we all do without even more?
Nice poem by the way.

    Hi, Sly

Thanks for your grand review. You are too funny!

Actually, it is still technically Easter season in the Catholic Church, of which I am a member. Stays that way until Pentecost.

You gave up macadamia nuts? No way, Jose, those are my favorite.

Mine too- that's why their such a sacrifice. Actually I can't find anyone around here who even sells them.

I get my macadamias from a great site called Nuts.com. The packaging alone is worth ordering. They're fresh and come within 4-5 days.

They also sell fantastic dried strawberries. I've used them a dozen times and have never had any problems.

I.m placing my order as soon as I finish my note here. Thanks. Oh and since I have your attention for a sec- to the right of this box are two options "save" and "more replies" Since we've already been swapping messages, and this isn't a critique what should I do. I taking a chance here I'm pushing "more replies". Hope you get this note.Looks like I'll have to "save" anyway.

    Hi, Sly

I did get your response. I find myself confused with the range of options. Ha! I do better with one or two.

I think you'll enjoy your nuts (hehe).

What a fabulous pairing of poem and artwork. Absolutely stunning.
Nice alliteration of (p) in the second line. And the line of insight was perfect for Easter. I wasn't expecting that.

You have started off well with your haiku as the offering for the Poetry Month. It has alliteration too. Though it does not make much difference, the block letters used could be replaced by small letters for a better effect.

Hi, scd41. I appreciate your insight on the font size. Actually, another member mentioned that, and I meant to go in a change it. I think the suggestion is a good one.

    Thank you!
