You've captured the imagination of the readers with this one. Your word choice is short yet fluent to the picture. Though they are not lilies, it brings the vividness of life beginning anew.
Nicely composed and glad to have read it. John

I think your striking picture is a serious misnomer and I would suggest;
"Poised for promise/resurrection. Incidentally your syllable count does not make for a pure Haiku.

"haiku (furled lily)" is an extremely well-written piece. Short, succinct and very much to the point. It was a pleasure to read and review this talented poet's work.

Gorgeous artwork and your words of- promised resurrection - reminder of Easter.A lovely Haiku for poetry month. The haiku's always promote much thought on behalf of the author and reader, I feel. As this one does.

Never really got the gist of haiku poems but the image does help. 3 lines only
poignant and succinct leaves the reader poised for promised resurrection lol

The artwork you chose to accompany of the haiku was beautiful. I really liked "poised for promised resurrection." It makes me feel hopeful and reminds me to be hopeful.

Very nicely done. Your choice of words if concise and vivid. I love the anticipation of action in the words
flurred and poised
It has a "ar your ready" quality to it.
Beautiful artwork.

I think you have written a lovely poem and yes, I agree, the artwork is awesome. The resurrection of which you write, is it a spiritual awakening you mean? Forgive my ignorance. It is a lovely poem and I can get several meanings from the poem--a good thing for a poem to have.

I think it's cool that you can 'several' meanings from my poem, Nancy. Though my haiku does not strictly adhere to the general rules, a good one leaves the reader wondering.
I appreciate the kind review!

Doesn't matter that they aren't lilies, a pretty picture to compliment your Haiku. The promise of fruition is great when we see the pods begin to open. I liked your Haiku because it tells us about the season for waiting for the opening and gives us hope that a beautiful flower will emerge. Well done poet!
