This is a well written poem. My favorite verse, "Sanctified holy place, Savior Christ someone safe". He is a safe place where one can find rest, even amongst the
difficulties of life.

yes...but there are souls God made for each other...I believe.
and to have and hold that kind of love..in humane form...count on dependable...always there no matter what. is...the treasure of life. Certainly worthy of prayer....-smile- thank you. love Michael

    Hey man...-smile-
yes Trixie...she's phenomenal. have not a clue why a major label has not let her bloom. If she had money behind her she'd be a Diva.

ah I dont look for rhyme...but usually employ it. I look for sound...how it sounds...read. does it taste good...sweet or sour...it has read in melodic, if not hypnotic sound. for it to take effect...other than...wish I wouldn't have...-smile-. anyway, thanks man. love to you...michael

You have written a very interesting poem full of faithful remarks. The arrangement of your words seems a bit different and I like that. I can't quite say what that does for the poem, but it enhances it in some way that makes the poem unusual.
Are you a painter, as in oil painting or watercolor? It seems to me that you apply your words as an artist would put them stroke by stroke in order to obtain the right hue, the right shape, to create a lovely picture. Well done.

    Hi Nance...-smile-
arrangements are are a non issue in my poetry collection.
I write to no other form than how I feel. When I "do" established form....I ...ah....have to run for miles afterward.
I'm not as young as I used to be...I'm afraid I'm going to cough up a lung one of these days. So I tend to stay me....-smile-....yes Maam I am. I'm Integrity Painting. I do it all...from oil to watercolor nudes...ahhaha...ah just kidding. I do specialty painting also...murals, faux finishes, European textures. I've always been very good at "specialty"...-smile-...I thank you. love to you...Michael

Very beautiful. Brought me back to my school days when I attended a private Lutheran school. Has the whimsical, playfulness of a child... "Cross my heart, hope to die" but then adds the seriousness of faith.

yes...I thought so also...-smile- ...appreciate you recognizing it. yes...its got a lot a faith in it too. It takes faith to qualify for answered prayer. Cross my heart...hope. love to you. Michael

This is a lovely poem with passionate verses. The first couple of verses rhymed and then suddenly stopped. I'm fairly new to this so that may be the intended style, I simply don't know. However, despite my confusion I think that the poem is beautiful and expresses deep feeling. Thank you for sharing.

I like how you opened and closed this poem with the same stanza only changing the punctuation for meaning. This is very well written and it causes the reviewer to reflect.

Hi Michael. I haven't come across a poem of yours for a long time.

Savior Christ - our cross my heart hope:)

being loved is the basic necessity of all and we all have it from the Lord.

Yep, I guess all you can do is cross your heart and hope Michael. Naked or fully clothed, we all need love.
I prefer the former LOL

Yep...nuthin like a holy place, to feel safe and snug...

Always good to read you...a rather divine write.
