There is no doubt that cell regeneration occurs each and every minutes, in all of our lives.

The only problem is as we get older, not enough of our cells regenerate - thus, eventually, we die. JW

Hi, foxangie123. I love that folks like you on FanStory are open to something different in the way of presentation. One of the great things about this site. I used to write more poetry back when I joined the site five years ago. I do plan to do more this year and re-connecting with my roots.

You are biologically correct, the problem is spiritual however, to be reborn in a spiritual way one must undergo a spiritual rebirth. This is not automatic as it involves free will. Man's greatest gift and worse curse both at the same time. We rarely make the correct choice living and hopefully learning to regret it.

I so agree with your statement regarding our spiritual connection. Yet, for me the physical and spiritual are intermingled far more closely than any of us realize. At least, that's my hope.

This type of free style poetry is ubiquitous amongst those who fance themselves as homespun philosophers and often falls over on the grounds of either false philosopher or trite comment masquerading as something deeper.

You have made your point here without falling into either of these traps. It hasd been well thought out and well laid out. My only quarrel is one of font colour. The red on pink is a touch hard to read. I can understand why you want the black text to stand out from the introductory "as ifs" but I would have prefered a slightly greater contrast between font and background.
