Is a no thought a thought? I will have to think about that. We are not all that responsible for the random thoughts that "POP" into our minds but if you are a positive person then the thoughts are mostly good one, I think!

Indeed you said it. We must try and keep positive thoughts but from the Eastern Zen philosophical point of view the process of having thought is an uncontrolled phenomena and one has to subdue it by having no thoughts while meditating. A good person is a person with good character and that keeps his or her mind filled with good thoughts.

I've seen ABC poems before, but they usually require three consecutive letters and then the fourth line can begin with any letter. I've never seen a poetry form with so many lines in alphabetical order!

I liked this poem and I appreciated the message - BUT the last two lines threw me, confused me, and muddled the message for me. Sorry!

It is a contest poem and that is what was A REQUIRED FORM. Don't use I- to- We thinking without making yourselves aware of the Facts. Most others thought those confusing lines as the most enlightening lines and they gave five and six star ratings. However you have the right to review and comment. Thanks.

Thanks for your kind comments and frankly, I had to go into meditation to seek wisdom as how to fight wicked thoughts invading my mind due to these horrific events happening. Best regards.

Thank you for your encouraging comments and review. Words come in mind when one is inspired with something. I was troubled by the events happening in the Islamic world and wondered where thoughts of doing harm originate and answer came in form of this poem. Best regards. Read my other poems in same book.
