Hi Artisart4U
Whenever I see a rainbow, I picture Noah letting the animals out of the ark. It's a sign from God, a reminder if you will. It's a beautiful sight each and every time I see one. I gawk, mesmerized. And I'm no spring chicken!
I have three suggestions for you.
The last line,
"Rainbow, in the sky" ... where else would it be? "in the sky" is redundant. There are three syllables that you could put to better use. I suggest,
ravishing rainbow, or something like that.
Also, I wouldn't use capitals, and there's no need of those commas either.
Good Luck in the contest!
cheers

I would agree that rainbows are awesome. We don't get the huge ones too often, those that stretch across the sky. But even the small ones are an "optical phenomenon."

and enthusiastically describe the
beauty of the mirage in the open
sky, the rainbow.

Good luck with your contest entry; three little lines have summed up the covenant that god made with man. He made the rainbow and promised never to flood the land like He did in the times of Noah. Beautiful my friend. Happy Easter!

The one who put it there is awesome also, but it's great to look at the wonders of creation and know how wonderful it reall is. As is your wonderful 5/7/5 poetic entry, inventive and original, so many great entries in the contest, good luck on yours! Well done, blessings, Roy

'Optical phenomenon" is a great word pairing. The sounds go so well together. Rainbows do indeed inspire awe and it is not surprising that there is so much folklore attached to them. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks for your five stars and comment. Your fourth line "... ending a line with an," I am not sure what you meant, can you explain it to me. Nevertheless, thanks such much for reviewing it.

One has received a blessing when he is able to see a miracle of God full on display in the heavens. We should treasure each occurrence as it takes place. Some may never be so blessed and that is a shame. Even worse is that some will witness and take for granted such a sight and assign no honor to it. Shame on these ones.

A well written 5-7-5 poem. The rainbow is always beautiful to look at. The colorful bow in the sky make us always stare in awe.
