lovely poem and great picture to go with it. i really like the title phrase. and the fact that you used the word emblazon and made the first line flow into the second. you really put a lot into this poem

Very nice descriptive words. The picture is beautiful. Its a good entry for the contest. I hope you do well. Its fun to write these short descriptive poems as a challenge. Good luck!

This is a beautiful 5-7-5 which actually follows haiku guidelines. You present beautiful images with your words, which as chosen, take us to the exact moment in time. Very effective verb choice with "emblazon." A lot of imagery here.

I have had the opportunity of witnessing sunsets here in Ohio, on the Oregon coast, Ireland and China. No matter where I am, sunsets that this most excellent contest entry describes are so beautiful and very calming. The sunsets in Ireland were the most incredible and intense. So many colors swirling together.

I wish you good luck in this contest. It helped bring back some great memories and I thank you for sharing this most excellent 5-7-5 piece of poetry.

You got my attention with the mention of, "saffron". I love that description of yellow, especially when attached to a sunset. You have the right amount of syllables as required for this contest. This is a nice micro scene with lovely descriptions like a work of art. Best wishes in this contest!
