I like the rhyming in this poem, and it flows nicely. We can all get distracted, but I like that he remembered his wife. Good man for keeping his promise! Too bad he couldn't pick her flowers. Thanks for sharing.

A great easy flowing Spensarian Sonnet. It is awesome flowers and I love the blue color. I must admit I never see them before now. A perfect capture.

I realize that your poem was being delayed by the beauty of flowers but this could be taken by the human flowers that distract men. Well done and there is no harm in looking and admiration. It's best not to pick the flowers. ; )

Mmm, a beautiful poem. I quite enjoyed the imagery provided, especially coupled with the underlying color scheme chosen. Funny how nature is so mesmerizing. I would give up life and live in it completely if I didn't have so many student loans to pay off. Thank you for sharing :)

Mmm, a beautiful poem. I quite enjoyed the imagery provided, especially coupled with the underlying color scheme chosen. Funny how nature is so mesmerizing. I would give up life and live in it completely if I didn't have so many student loans to pay off. Thank you for sharing :)
