Great article, Mikey. Now I bet you're wondering whether I'm just telling a white lie or if I mean it. Well wonder away. I like the story about the girl who said she was robbing the grave. I'd like to find one like that - a girl I mean not a story. Anyway, your article - not perfect of course I actually found the typo left there for the reviewer to find:

"Well, if your fifty-five years old". You are is correctly abbreviated you're not as you have it here.

There you go. The reviewer feels better. He's done a fine job. Perhaps I might find that forty something year old after all. No that's no typo. I've just got less far to drive to get to the morgue.

Honestly, we were made for each other, both crazy in exactly the same way. Dangerous for each other though, it's a miracle we survived each other. Great fun though. Ha! I keep doing that stupid your/you're thing. Jeesh

Unlike you, I was taught to open doors, and when I was a youngster, my mother would make me walk closest to the road, as she said all gentlemen should do. But now, looking back, she must have been using my innocent and naive little ass as a buffer to save herself from harm. LOL! Great read. :-)

I had that ingrained in me too from somewhere. I always thought that it was more likely someone would jump out from the bushes and drag them away. Yeah, I never thought of that. They sure are willing to sacrifice us in a heartbeat. HAHAHA! mikey

I don't believe in little white lies, my lady gets her hair done and I don't like it i'm the first to let her know, if she looks like shit in a dress i'm there to tell her, Honesty is the best policy, i don't want people laughing at my wife because i lied and said she looked great.

again a great read. I am with you on this one, I think it's ok to be a little vague with the whole truth. What could one possibly gain from making someone else fell like crap because you couldn't find a few complimentary words to Say.

Ha, I really get a charge out of the artwork there. I always mention that on account of because some people get their knickers in a knot over it. What can I say? I like visuals too.

Haaaaaa, funny line from Donna but yes indeed it is insulting.

I think it boils down to simply noticing people. Is it that big a hassle to notice a couple old ladies in the park and get them to smile. It seems like a nice thing to do that takes little effort. Yeah, what's with these people and the visuals. Did they have a hard time reading the funny papers as kids. What the hell do they do when confronted with a map? OMG!!! What about a movie? Everything is moving AND they're all speaking!!!! AHHHHH!
The grave remark was a scream. She was funny as hell.
I do have a lot more of these stories, maybe I'll put some together one of these days. mikey
