The short explanatory note was essential in this instance otherwise we might have thought you were planning something drastic. It is always difficult to get into the inner workings of the mind of another but you seem pretty certain that you've got it right here. the form of the poem, made up principally of tercets, enables you to look back on her life, through her eyes, one step at at a time.
A sad piece but exquisitely constructed.

It is always difficult to get into the inner workings of the mind of another but you seem pretty certain that you've got it right here. the form of the poem, made up principally of tercets, enables you to look back on her life, through her eyes, one step at at a time.

Nope not me. I am of the mind...why do something so final for a temporary situation. Plus, I have seen the aftermath of "drastic" measures.

My old ipad helped me read this poem. I had to enlarge the page to be able to read the fancy font in the pale pink. I did it, though. So I'm pleased with myself :)
