Bob, sorry it's taken me a while to get round to reading your picture challenge poem. I've been out of town and I am way behind in my reviews.
However, I really enjoyed reading your interpretation of the picture challenge. Your poem is fun and expresses a good imaginative story as to how a hole got in the roof of a library. Your end line adds an amusing end to your piece with Harry becoming a cook. Your poem is nicely rhymed and entertaining - very good :-)
My picture challenge poem is now off promotion but I would love to hear your comments on it when you have a mo. Many thanks ~ DD

Hahaha! I'm wondering how the HP fans took your delightfully malicious fun!
It's so entertaining! Especially the way you finished it is priceless! A fast food cook! :D Thank you for the good laugh!

I'm delighted that you enjoyed my insanity. I don't consider myself a real poet and I believe this proved that opinion

Hi Bob. This IS an amusing take on the photo for this Picture This prompt. A departure from the rest of us decrying the loss of those great old buildings. It brought a smile with my morning cup of coffee. Marilyn

After reading a number of the entries I decided to take a lighter approach. I can't compete with the real poets so I opted for nonsense. Glad you enjoyed it

Hi Bob. I think that is the trick here. Write whatever pleases us. Diversity is great. Marilyn

Hi Bob,
What an imagination you have. lol
Funny, you've got it going on here. ;)
I smiled, I admit it...
I had to laugh at the end, though I thought you had messed up her name!
Now he's back with JK
Rolling with her new book
(very cute. ;) rolling a play on her name to the next line. Very nicely done) ;)
I have a suggestion for punctuation... (well, I have a LOT of it, but I"ll only make one, as I see you don't want to punctuate, but I think it's sort of necessary here:
Listen(,) you might agree
(see what I mean?)
Other than that... a delight to read. ;)
nice interpretation.

My hope has been restored. In 18 reviews you're the only one to pick up on my punful (never could spell painful) attempt to get her name into the poem.
I'll employ that comma now. Grammatically I rate about the same level as Hiliary and Donald rate in the sincerity stakes.
Thank you M/s U R Cat.

lol... It wasn't difficult to spot that, my dear man. ;) At first I thought... He can't spell... And then I noticed the author's notes... ;) lol

Hello Bob :)
I love your interpretation of the artwork. So different to all the other 'takes' I've read so far. It really amused me.
I'm sure JK Rowling won't mind you having a little fun with Harry!
Kindest regards, Debra :)

Thank yo Debra. I'm delighted you were amused and you appreciated my irreverent approach.
I must confess I got to the stage where I didn't know how to interpret the photo so I just allowed my insanity
take over

This one is the most humorous poem of all the ones I have read so far. It also makes perfectly sense now, that you mention it. Harry is an adventorous guy.

If only he knew how to control his wand. Glad you saw the intended humour. It was fun to write.

Hi, Bob. It seems like you had a lot of fun interpreting this picture. I must admit I have read a lot of these and yours is by far the most extremem and fun at the same time. Blessings. Bob

Sometimes I have to allow a little madness to escape and this was one of those moments.
Thanks for reading and I'm delighted you shared my stupidity.

How lovely the poem
Rolls with the theme
Showing the mischievous
Harry Potter in the leaves
Well does the poem show
That wisdom can be fun
When knowing the characters
That act in the way so spun

For heavens sake! I enjoyed this so much. I think I will save it for my grand kids. Wonderful creativity and fresh spark of the imagination. Miss Rowling and Harry are delighted! Great smile here.

This is quite an original take on the picture. Like the humor and a lot of thought put in. Good rhyme scheme and nice presentation too.

Thanks frogbook. It was just a piece of nonsense that really came in one flow and at the last moment.
