A lot of connecting examples of God's servants, very human people who God used in His service, the one thing they had in common is, they were very human, flawed but loved God. God wanted them to get out of the way, but they didn't really succeed, but God saw their collective hearts and was still glorified, good piece Michael, some great examples of biblical weak people being used by God, well done, blessings, Roy

Yes Sir....i'm glad our God is so smart. without the examples left in the Holy history of us and Him...the Bible.....I dont know if any "follower" lwould keep getting up to try again. Its the knowing that even our heros of the good fight....from time to time broke down human.....I imagine cursed their commission, even the soul sent to save by the Word or warning of God. From Moses to God in flesh we see ....human....sometimes. Its hard to walk in the spirit Roy ...half man. love Michael

warrior with kind eyes, but
the enemy of kindness
that ensures the soul's demise, a child's soul
embraced by ropes and ties
no beginning ..no end
where I begin, he dies
where he begins I die
let me out..let me out..
The poem, your poem speaks of the illusion, the delusion of traditional religion which captures, rather than frees the soul to love. Sad, but true. I refuse to allow others to define Jesus for me.

Sorry..I missed the point, but my little rhyme addressed it. Heavy expectations can crush a soul. So, then, why is the song so angry and sad and calling for release?....I love his voice. Writing from phone. Mistakes.
