I roam around my house seeing what I can and cannot do
I am happy just being me and somehow staying true

Teresa, how very right you are. We should just take one moment
at a time and enjoy all God has put into each day. Look around
us and see all His blessings. Just wondered if one line should be
Stopping by to see all my cats I adore instead of and adore. Thought

You speak the truth in your poem because whatever your day is it won't come that way again. Some days going to be good, some bad, we just have move on to the next faze in our lives. Taking one day at a time is how we get there. (Heaven) awaits us if we stay true. Thank you for sharing your poem.

Hi Teresa - a poem of the moment and as you say that time will not come again. Although not metered the rhyme is good in aabb form and the message is true. Well, you are on the right road. Recovery Road is one that is
a scary one and your courage to take it is admirable. I am sure

Thank you Bill. I don't think you have anything to worry about there. I was able to go to my 2 year old grandson's birthday party tonight. I think my husband and I both such be commented for that. lol He was so adorable. hugs, Teri
