Your poem rhymes nicely. It expresses the message of the picture clearly. It emphasises the need to accept others even if we don't like the color of their stripes.

This is great fun, a suite of limerick style stanzas. It is a pity thathe meter is a bit off in places because the limerick is a form that is so depended upon thythm for its successs.

Hi Pantygynt, Thanks for reading and reviewing my entry for this fun contest. The words were challenging and I thought a limerick may suit my thoughts once I picked the theme for my poem. Ha Ha a hard one with my selected words, so forgive my off meter in places Cheers Christine😃

His mother said "stop all this fuss"!
Accept he is different, not suss
Not from Jurrasic
Nor Neo-Classic
He really is just one of us.

Very clever - quite awesome, Chrissy...
words and rhyme flows perfectly in a sing-song rhythm

I'm glad I popped in.

Hello, Chrissy :)

I like your poem about a unique zebra who didn't fit in with the crowd but his mom came to the rescue and told everyone to stop. I think it is neat when poets in FS get together for a common goal. This is a great poem for children and adults. Good job!

You nailed this challenge! What a story about the red zebra! And you even made a limerick out of it! Very enjoyable, imaginative piece, yet the message of acceptance is a very important one! Thank you for sharing!
