This is a very creative poem. I almost feel like I would have to sit down and have a conversation with you in order to understand it. The arrangement of phrases is so unnatural, but perhaps you intended it to be that way. I am curious to know if that is the case. It seems like it might be intentionally set up that way.

Very Cool twist, having the jungle being all in one's own mind. I can relate to this because we all make our own jungles or prisons in our minds. Nice job.

Very interesting. I love a story involving animals. This is great. It tells the perils of the jungle and how death lurks around every corner. Fear of being eaten alive has to be with them every moment of every day. Nice story. I enjoyed it very much.

Predators teeth of death in waits to kill,
blur sudden will at life an unfortunate,
drain evening thrill fright to feel on you

The disjointed words adds suspense and foreboding.
Well penned

Wow -- the jungle is certainly a dangerous place...and your equating it to the realm of the mind here is very interesting and even intriguing ... the predator, the prey....great job! ;)

I can gather the frights of a jungle and how it maybe can be a place in your mind and the way it feels to be alone and afraid. Hunger can turn you in to a predator or prey.
