This is neat. Help from the furry Yeti. They have to be good for something. Those winters must be something to endure. I'm glad I don't have to shovel a driveway. Interesting idea of the Yeti doing a good deed as punishment. He sure went for the offer of hot chocolate and muffins. Maybe he'll reappear when there's another big snow. Excellent story. When you have a speaker change, begin a new paragraph. For instance, "My tribe is punishing me...." should begin a new paragraph. You've used past tense pretty consistently, but lapse with 'the large white beast resumes shoveling." Makes that past tensed, resumed. Hope that helps. judi

I appreciate your suggestions on improvement, I am a little lost with writing stories. One reviewer suggested being consistent with the tenses, use either past or present but not both. Thanks for reading and enjoying. Elaine

A nice thing to think about even though strange. Id prefer a handsome firefighter, but this will do.lol
