Hey Michael (((((((((...
where we weren't waits where (we're) supposed to be...
yeah, holly tongue twisting torment to alliteration Batman... you did that on purpose just to have us all lingering in thought of the deeper connective meaning... hell, I'm not sure if I should be here, there or somewhere to where I should be... talk about air time... you play basketball my man? Floats just like Jordan take off... must say Brother, this did leave me in pieces... a sorta disjointed feeling of not being complete without the other half of who I am... or even for that matter, where I belong?
Haunting stuff... and as usual, your original-unique form that is all you... yeah, love and admire that about you!
With our thoughts we create,
the deepest deception,
James.

this is excellent Michael would have given it a six but have run out of them. The accompanying music from youtube is very pertinent and erotically tasteful and is electrically charged just like the accompanying guitars. Brilliant from Williamx

Such a beautiful nostalgia trip, thank you Michael. I love that movie, somehow I like movies in black and white. Your words and your song are a beautiful wake up to life, this morning.

Hi Beauty...-smile-...yea, thats where I went. I dont remember the movie...i mean I remember parts of it...I think....a man and women meet and know meant to be...but the "world" is at war and most people are jealous for love. so Sam plays a song over and over almost heard. ...-smile-...love you Michael

"Beauty" answers get the movie in Netflix, already...

Michael: always a pleasure, a treasure and a question mark when I read your words. I love this movie. Lost romance during a time of war . . . decisions to make. The loser goes about his life as normal and the other loser flies off with another man who loves her . . . wonderful or tragic having two people love you so much all at the same time. I have fought all my life to find just one . . .my days in the sun, but the sun is setting now. I will rejoice in my memories because it sure was fun searching! Linda

Hey Thunder...-smile- ...ha...well me too most of the time. hmm...your trying to tell me Ingrid left Humphrey for another man.....lol -headshake-....now that is funny. ....I guess I better watch that movie....I think you may have misinterpreted what you saw. Just doesn't sound possible...anyway haha...
Linda.....what is love....? Real ultimate love...? wasn't it shown to us....gifted to us unworthy of its offer. God is love...."if you've seen Me...you've the Father"....Jesus said.
what did He do Linda....? When a whole world rejected Him...He loved them. Your love made and makes difference...and most assuredly will be missed when its recipients look for its kiss. -smile-...your sun will rise again....love you Michael

There is no misinterpretation on my part. Bacal was married and during the war she thought her husband had been killed, he was certainly missing. She met Bogey and they had a sweet affair and Bogey fell madly in love with her then she disappeared. They all remeet at Bogey's restaurant. Not a sweet reunion because she is back with her husband. Final scene: Bogey watches her leave on an airplane with her husband and knows he'll never see her again . . . love lost.
I cannot answer the question, "What is love". For an entire lifetime I searched and had a great deal of fun doing so but not sure that I ever found love . . . except God's love. The only pure love I know. All other love I am suspicious of. There's my philosophy for the day!
Too cold to thunder . . .

And my last six goes to my brother in crime. Love the poetic thought of another place and time, for that is where we often find ourselves in order to escape the norm.
Loved the romantic notion of Casablanca in enhancing the above said.
Love the nostalgia, my friend.
Bravo Michael.

been listening to this guy lately...Zucharro. -smile-
at first I'd only listen to those he sung in English....thought I needed to...to understand it, but I was wrong. -smile-
Iruben me....no one really knows but him I guess...exactly why...what he meant...why he titled it so. He says the name belong to a women he met in Amsterdam...says she was desperate, saw no "good thing" on life. And he said he was moved , being in a similar place at the time....-smile-...I find the sound captivating...ah enough about me Zucharro....how are you Dear...? love Michael
-
Hi Michael, how am I??? hummmmm....your kidding right...enough...love Linda
-
headshake-...no. I dont always think about myself Linda....only when masterbating....-headtilt-
-
never said you only think about yourself...and shame on you...headtilt

You already know how much I enjoy your references in your poems. Casablanca and its stars are terrific ones. I especially enjoyed your title with the famous quote and your final tercet with its alliteration of "b's". Cheers- Joan

Why thank you Sir...it is a comfort to know that some new members have a depth of poetic essence in them ...it seems some are more inclined to insect verse and spraying raid on alive. -shouldershrug- new generation I guess...should have spanked their asses no matter what the cops said...look at us now...-smile-..haha...thanks man. love michael

Hmmm,mm,mm,m,m,,,,, I don't think you should write using things of such a history of past. It isn't you as I read. It's not bad, just average, ya know.
