I don't worry about the ranking, I just do my thing and let the chips fall where they may. Some of us have more time to review and post than others. My ranking for the year as a poet might have been higher had I not been ill in the summer and missed over 3 weeks. You do well considering you have to be the caretaker for you lovely wife. Patricia

I find the rankings all so cute... how if we end one year at a certain rank,
do we really and truly expect the next year to even out any differently than the year before? Especially right in the beginning?
I mean, do we TRULY get THAT much better or worse than the year before?
I'm sure that this polar bear will be swiped from me many many times throughout the year... who knows where we will end up?
LOL
But it's all about the journey... Hell, if I can just hold on to a Top 5, i"ll be a happy camper. LOL
But every single morning, I get a note like this one from Gynt:
"Morning Puss, I see you've held onto your polar bear and I'm sliding down the ranks... well done!"

Is that REALLY a 'well done'? or just a passive aggressive stab at me? LOL
After all, I ended last year at number 2 and he ended it somewhere around 60ish... so the fact that he started it at 4 is pretty good, right? ;)

Thanks Cat. Enjoy the top. I truly am happy for you. Just having a bit of fun, and no I wouldn't trade. I don't really care that much. I do get annoyed when some people who have as much talent as a 13 year old diary writer gets up there, but otherwise.... But you have true talent and deserve being up there.
