Being a Bears fan, I sure love it when anyone beats the Packers! LOL I liked your poem in this format, and I enjoyed your tribute to the season of the Purple and I hope they continue to carry on to the big bowl win. Congrats and good luck!
Smiles,
Karyn :-)

I'm not a fan of football at all (I prefer basketball) but your poem about your favorite team is fun to read. Good LyriCat form.

Thank you Teresa. I'm only a basketball fan at playoff time. Our Timber Wolves are too bad to watch.

Wow, congratulations to your team, Tom! I love it when the so-called 'losers' win! Doesn't it do your heart good when that happens! LOL, that'll teach the other side to poke fun at your team!! Loved the poem, my friend. :) Sandra

I am sure Cat will be tickled pink to have the Vikings success recorded in her own LyriCat form.

As befits it's subject word choice here has been taken out of the sports commentators vocabulary rather than that of the poet. Anything else would have confused the issue.

It is always good to have the odd giant killer on the sporting s energy whatever the game and this is no exception.

A couple of queries:

"Odd makers love them..." We would say "Odds makers..." But this could simply be American English at work.

"as some loses sacked. .." I think you meant "losses" here.

Thank you Pantygynt. Yes, that is an Anericanism. I did mean losses. I fix that.

Wow! What an exciting LyriCat! damn, I wish I had a six... this is awesome Tom... and not just because it's a LyriCat (because hey... that's awesome too) but you're right, written in the style you wrote it in, unlike when some of us write them to interconnect the lines, these are fast and exciting and fit right in with your team... I was running down the field here! ;)
How exciting that your team is winning! Congrats!
Well done and a virtual six... I love it. ;)
Thanks for once again writing a LyriCat and I'm so honored and grateful to you for always supporting this form. ;)
Hugs
Cat

Thanks Cat. I like the format. The best part was that they beat the Packers in their stadium, since the Oack beat us in ours.
