BMW, this is a good lyric poem. You have described the unfortunate situation of a relashionships gone bad very effectively. I'm feeling it, I'm feeling your angst and I'm feeling relief on you breaking free - out of unhappiness and into loving arms. All is written well but I'm really liking the first and second verse. Thanks so much for sharing this emotive piece.

Though I understand the lyrics are not expected to have any rhyming pattern, but the meter though sounded a bit jerky.

Hi Brett - a good lyric poem that flows along very nicely. Repetition gives a good effective sound to the poem. Almost mono-rhyme throughout. Very good - I like the repetition of the following - a good refrain -

This is very good Brett, has such a nice even flow when read, and in the right tune no doubt sings well also. Great job. Sometimes breaking up is the only thing to do.

I enjoyed this lyrical poem of revenge and throwing it in the face of the ex. Very entertaining with a nice flow. It sounds like a country song indeed. There is something about making sure that the ex know that you have moved on and are happier and have someone better that is satisfying. Nice job! Happy Writing!
