Hi, Amusing piece and enjoyed it well done! A silent political hint if not mistaken. Fun. And viva Italia and their pasta and sun.
In Bologna, you will find just what many eat in the good old USA. Spaghetti Bolognese and yet Roma, Venezia, as Florence as most visited... offer other good plates.

Ned?s mostly interested in Spaghetti-Os in a can.

There goes Ned again! Loved the line, "Their pastor's a bigot!?!" mishearing about the pasta. However, would someone like Ned even know about amoebas? Can't even imagine him saying, "Her amoebic dysentery." Pons might though after Ned described it.

Good point. This is an older scene; Ned has gotten dumber as the series has proceeded.

Oh Lord. This poor shmuck may have two feet, but they seem to both be lefties, because he could not get out of his own way, even if he was double jointed.

Review by Henry: What? Ned must have artillery ear, probably around too many 155s firing for effect at charge 8. That was good. I have been in many conversations like that with buddies, and even my children. We have them texting to each other across several time zones. This is a realistic conversation between close people. I cannot say, that it ties in with the previous scene or within the script, because I haven't read them.

Hello Bill,
I think I need to borrow these two from you, especially on my gloomy days. Laurel and Hardy? No match for Ned and Pons. I can imagine them on some local or national radio, going back and forth. The station would probably have a ban on listening to it while driving or something.
Excellent.

I love this Who's on First dialogue. I'm in public and I was laughing out loud. You should get paid for this. Call the folks at Saturday Night Live. Send them your scripts. They need them.

This is an interesting post that the author has created with this piece of writing. This is an interesting scene here. I like the way that you play on words with your dialects here. Well done.

Pons: Yes. Their pasta is a big hit.
Ned: What? Their pastor's a bigot!?!
LOL! What great lines! Misunderstood words usually make for good humor and you've used the technique very well here. :)

Oh my land, Bill I shall never eat meatballs and asghetti eva again. Amoebas you say?! Ugh
Love the Catlicks though, that is most apropos.
The play on words is terrific and I think highlights all the problems we have misunderstanding each other--even in person--of deline. Language is the source of all our difficulties.
Very fun and great to see you writing a script.
