This is a very touching story in a poem, and if personally true, all the more
wonderful for you! Such incidents do happen, and cannot be accounted
for as anything else as this kind of peaceful and calming spiritual touch
experience. Even if posted as a story in itself, still is very inspiring and
comforting to read. God bless...thanks for posting. Keep on keeping on.

Worth far more than six stars but, alas, I have only five. This reminds me of an hymn by William Cowper. I hope you enjoy the lyrics. God bless you!

Sometimes a light surprises the Christian while he sings;
It is the Lord, who rises with healing in His wings:
When comforts are declining, He grants the soul again
A season of clear shining, to cheer it after rain.

In holy contemplation we sweetly then pursue
The theme of God's salvation, and find it ever new.
Set free from present sorrow, we cheerfully can say,
Let the unknown tomorrow bring with it what it may.

It can bring with it nothing but He will bear us through;
Who gives the lilies clothing will clothe His people, too;
Beneath the spreading heavens, no creature but is fed;
And He Who feeds the ravens will give His children bread.

Though vine nor fig tree neither their wonted fruit should bear,
Though all the field should wither, nor flocks nor herds be there;
Yet God the same abiding, His praise shall tune my voice,
For while in Him confiding, I cannot but rejoice.

Teri,
What a wonderful story in a poem and I can relate with the feelings you expressed. The enemy is working overtime to try and take away our joy but we do have a wonderful God who will never leave us.
Thank you for sharing your story of victory in Christ. I enjoyed reading it.
Best wishes in the contest.
Blessings,
Anabella

Good morning, Teri,

What a wonderful joyful Praise poem you have posted, my friend, so filled with Love and understanding of just what Faith means,
I had what I call a "pity party" myself, yesterday, as I ended up in the hospital once again...as I began to slip into just a moment of deep despair, something came to me...in my own mind...as I recalled how often the Bible tells us...Jehovah God, never leaves us alone...he's always there...we only have to believe...through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ He has sent us the "Comforter" the Holy Spirit, and so we are never really alone...I'm so thankful for that...sometimes we may forget, and have that "pity party"..that's what I call it, but I always welcome God's Blessings, and He sends them so very often...This morning I am back at home, a bit slow, I may be, but I'm here...
Yes indeed Miricles do happen...I loved your well written rhymed quatrain verses...they was so uplifting...and a beautiful story!
Oh yes indeed I know of those tears that fall, but yesterday, though a bit frightened, I knew I was not alone...Its a feeling only some can imagine..

I'm so happy, my dear friend, that you realized you'll never be left alone, He can do anything, anything at all...
Thanks so much for sharing your story with is...it was a joy to read!

Blessings, and lots of Love
Victoria

    Thank you so much my friend for the six stars but also for the wonderful words. I am so sorry you were in the hospital. I am glad you are out. I guess I have those pity parties at times too. I think as humans we seem to feel alone at times. Love you, Teri

    You're very welcome, your miracle poem was a joy to read, and made my day...yes I'm home today, and thanks to God, I feel pretty good...You're right. as humans, even with our Faith, we may seem alone at times...BUT! He always picks us up!
    Love you!
