Why musk deer? I love your view and agree with you. I got a little confused at the rod and nod part of the poem, but all in all I liked the rhythm and flow. You got your message across! God bless you!

This poem makes a lot of sense and is very easy to read and understand. The rhymes and slant rhymes are good as well. The absence of a discernable meter makes it read more like a college paper than a musical poem, but this seems to fit the topic, and was therefore somehow appropriate. I enjoyed reading this and thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I found this write closure very compelling in its given statement, more so powerful than thoughts leading to its point, they seemed slightly fogged to me. Yet as assembled enjoyable in its conveyed read.

I thought that this was a nicely written piece for the faith poetry contest. I liked how you described the ways how we can find God, by looking into our souls and in the places where we worship Him. A well written piece, good luck in the contest...Jacob

God is the final arbiter of all the good and bad things happening. He being omnipotent and also omniscient, our self-confidence gets restored when we surrender to Him. With self-confidence and His grace, our success becomes a distinct possibility. Your spiritual poem has a strong appeal for all. It can serve well as a stress-buster.

Well stated, faith is not found in churches and temples. When two are more are assembled praying and praising, God is there, no matter where it is.
Faith in God gives us self-worth because no matter what, God loves us.
Best wishes for the contest.
Bless you
john

I believe in you, faith is not only found in churches and temples. As the Bible tells anybody even two persons who are gathered praising and praying to God, God will always be in their midst. Jesus did not go the church regularly , He preaches even under the trees, near beaches, or mountains. Ourselves remain the temple of God. God bless.

Very aptly put. People do search as if God could be contained in a building or box. He is far too big and powerful a God, but He instead flows through all of us who are aligned with Him. My favorite lines are the last two:
Self-worth coupled with God's love leads us to success
Dispelling the darkness caused by nerve-racking stress.
Thank you for sharing.

You are so right, self-worth is something the Lord wants and gives to us when we seek it. There are many who believe that God wants punishment and distress for His children, and I grew up that way, but, like you said, it is important for us to have self-worth.
Great job,
Rhonda
