Hi there,
Have you been watching 'Next Top Designer'. This was very funny ad I chuckled my way through the whole thing. Nicely penned although it is coming up under the prose banner rather than poetry.

Yikkees! what kind of a fashion icon is Jamie Jojo, his disastrous fashion taste is inconceivable, just like the fashion faux pas of the Illuminati Lady Gaga. I had fun reading the humor infused in the poem.

- like a limerick your writings rhyming words were contingent to the meaning and concept of each line therefore making the rhythm the flow so smoothly.
- the imagery was or is very risqué and exquisitely expressive and vividly and demonstratively descriptive throughout your writing.
- an excellent job here Bill and may the good Lord be with you always.

Hey, ya' know, Jamie JoJo Jizzerilt might be onto something here, Bill. Goth is all the rage amongst the young and the ruthless these days. Not only that, but if you wore barbed wire around your scrotum on a regular basis, getting your nuts caught in a vice wouldn't seem nearly as painful.
You're nuts, you know that? Just thought I'd point that out to you, just in case someone hadn't already, heh-heh...

Oh, I agree, Bill. Young people's fashion today leaves little to the imagination for females, and forces you USE your imagination for the boys, as in "What the hell was HE thinking?" hahahaha... ;)

Seems like I've heard something similar somewhere. I guess that would mostly be the 2nd stanza. It's a comical piece. WYSIWYG. I don't detect any deeply intended, inferred, or implied meanings or messages. I count 1 simile and no metaphors. Interesting rhyme scheme: aaab, cccb, dddb. The theme is a complete thought with a resolution.

Well, this was certainly different. I thought it was funny so I read it to my kids. They thought it was funny as well. Good rhythm and the rhyming was as well. I liked the image and the comedic timing was excellent. Gretchen

Lee, you are a "drink deep from the spring of knowledge or not at all" person, where I am a "as you gaze into the abyss..." person. I see this as a goof poem. Thank you for the excellent review. Bill
