Wanna know more. Her life grew bleak and she deserted it for the freedom of drifting through the night, apparently with damning collateral damage. A nun who
forsook her vows? A mom who Susan Smithed her offspring? A wife who cheated on a saint? Aw, just muttering. Excellent images and rhymes.

Thank you for the excellent rating and sharing these observations. The dark lady is so steeped in mystery and obscurity, it was hard to fathom just what her background was. You obviously have used your imagination to ponder it.

Nice poem about the Dark Lady. vivid visualization and description. Good use of ABAB Quatrain to paint a picture of the macabre. Good job on this one.

This was a pleasant poem to read. The rhyme and flow were smooth. Hiw many "dark" ladies or men do we carry with us? The things we hope nobody ever sees. Thanks for sharing. God bless.

Thank you for the excellent rating and sharing your thoughts. I am glad you liked the poem and it made you wonder about those "dark" ladies/men and their influence. This was very much out of the box for me, and it was fun to do and be a part of Dean's book.
