Amazing! How did you managed to do an acrostic with rhyme? The lines flow well together and the rhyme and meter is solid. Well chosen words that evoke joy. The presentation and your painting is stunning. Good job!

* "We dance with our heart, our emotions melt" Good use of personification.

Mary, I must say you have penned a wonderful acrostic here. In today's world so many people have their noses in their cell phones and I wonder just how aware they are of their surroundings. You watercolor is outstanding. I love watercolor, but can't do it very well. Blessings, Patricia

Lovely message, Mary, some people go through life totally unaware of what is around them and appreciate nothing. Well presented acrostic, with excellent rhyming. Artwork and poetic expression are equally compelling. As I looked at the picture it brought back memories of my three years in Germany (near the French border) and blooming flower boxes on the window sills. As I read the well-penned lines, I felt as if I were reading an acrostic of my own decades of living. I wish you success in the contest.

Thanks for your excellent review, just to say the painting is of the Donkeys who is being celebrated because they worked for the common people down the years. In France, they march the animals through the town. The year before it was the bulls.
