"Your problems will have endings/ but the endings you must choose" - so true. The only one who can bring closure to the inner struggle of climbing out of the shadow of abuse is yourself. "Dance in your own bright moonlight"- night no longer dark but lit from within. I hope that the person you are trying to help hears the message. Excellent poem!

l like the sentiment. sometimes the rhyming is a little contrived especially in the first stanza (life/strife) (choose/shoes) but essentially a successful poem with the positive energy coming through.

This is an absolutely brilliant poem, mystery poet, and it makes me feel like conquering the world, my world anyway. What a wonderful way to encourage others to go ahead and be what they can be, and to do it without expecting others to do it for them. I wish I had a six for this one, my friend, because it deserves that and more!
