This is a good Old Man Brown nursery rhyme writing prompt entry. It is very descriptive and is well rhymed. The picture attached is perfect to enhance this poem. Good job and good luck in the competition.

Excellent

Short like most nursery rhymes and has a consistent rhyme scheme making it easy to remember. A bit nonsensical--also an element of nursery rhymes. good luck in your contest.

Great job with this nursery rhyme... and you say it is your first? I'm impressed. Very nicely done. It has the rhyme and lilt of a typical nursery rhyme, plus humor and child-appeal. I think a child of any age (and I are one ;p) would love this rhyme.
