I don't know if you remember me but I first met you here on Fan Story when you first signed up in September 2011...I decided to move on and things are much better now and decided to come back...I am a fan of yours from that year...Your poem is beautifully expressed about how a woman can fill ones life with joy and ease...The ballerina moves across the screen with such ease and poise...Thank you, for sharing your romantic poem of beauty and love for our creator...Cinda :~)

Michael: I've never seen such a gathering of words which better describe the grace and beauty of a ballerina. Either you are writing more clearly or I am finding your words more transparent . . .

I'm not feeling so good these days. Had to crank up my oxygen another notch and the fatigue has stepped up its notch. Barely doing anything. Uno is still busy with family. Don't know when I will see her. I just hope I can get to that place where that name is etched because it will be as close as I will ever be to him.

Take care of yourself. Soft Thunder

This is a good poem, my friend. Full of sorrow and with a hint of sadness compounded with wistfulness. I liked the picture as it added to the poems tone a lot. Thank you for sharing.

I enjoyed the poem and the picture of the ballerina. I like best the last two lines as follows: graceful serves me, you wellspring cool water offering, soothing's slower dancer. All the best.

Fully worth six stars for this fine work but apparently too late in the process to have such to offer! This is another delightful work from this brilliant and unique Author who always stimulates our thinking and challenges our insights in all that he delivers! Congratulations on another fine work! I always enjoy your subtle references--in this poem, the ballet images, Mona Lisa and Adam's rib! The striking pictures and the repeat of the first stanza are very effective. Sweet dreams- Joan

We actually have a funicular--an outdoor elevator. We also cheated and had pumpkin pie today--Bob earned it since he had a colonoscopy--I just took advantage of the opportunity! Smiles- Joan

Hello Michael,
I like the way this wraps around on itself, as if pirouetting and sashaying about...
as she walks in beauty like the night...;)

your beginning and ending stanzas are lovely:

graceful serves me-
well spring cool water offering
inviting soothing's slower dancer

Yes, I do believe graceful does serve you. ;)

you do have a way with words:

Mona Lisa curves a woman beautiful

indeed.
Another lovely and very romantic piece from you. I'd expect no less.
Well done.
Cat (how do you hang on to sixes so long?) Oh, that's right... I live here, don't I? ;)

(((((( perhaps you worry too much? )))))

that's why social media isn't always the best form of communication. Vocal inflections are lost... and I think that something in the conversation and the way a person speaks to someone else is lost as well... the teasing tone, the slight smile, the 'head nod' that you so sweetly do... yeah, those things. those are lost. And so people don't always know whether or not someone is joking... I can tell you this...
I RARELY ever get pissed off. I'm pretty easy going... even if I rant... it's a blow off and it's over. It's usually just a poof of passion and it's just a way of saying what's on my mind. Not meant to hurt, just a way of putting off steam. So if you have a doubt, ask. But chances are, I"m not pissed. ;) I just don't get that way and If I hurt your feelings, please tell me... because I would never do it on purpose... honestly, I"m not that person. It's just all in fun. I promise you. ok? ;)
