This was a fun poem to read and enjoy! I must confess that I do not understand the meaning of all of it, but that is quite beside the point. We need something light of FS now and then.

Enjoyed the read aloud. Makes the ears laugh. Adult fun. Laughed like my grandkids laugh when I recite, Fuzzy.
But this is western sophisticated. Welcome sight and sound.

What an imagination you have, Bob. I adore your end stanza lines:
while living in Dakota
or so the anecdota
which brings us to the coda
But dang, then I'd be missing all the fun stuff that lay between those lines. I love it when a poem says absolutely nothing, but satisfies a reader's need: to laugh uproariously, and hope no one asks him what he finds that's so dad-blamed funny!

Cool! You really have a knack for nonsense names and fun poetry, Bill. I'm reviewing this even tho I have a rule about passing by two-centers. It was worth it! :)

cute, amusing, "short and sweet" story with a happy ending. Clever use of "coda" to finish the poem. On reading the title, I was apprehensive thinking the poem might be written in nonsensical language. The second line reveals it's a name and invites the reader deeper into the poem.

I haven't read any of your writings before, but this is swell. I love the lively beat and humorous tone. Sounds like a good time to check out what else you come up with.
