Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Your gift for weird twists continues! Your dialogue is terrific as usual (mostly internal dialogue in this piece). Again--I need to remember to read your work much earlier in the day! Nighty night! Caroline

Hahaha, yeah, that's probably best,. Caroline. But hey, there's no better compliment to one who writes horror than to hear, "I need to remember to read your work much earlier in the day!"
Thanks for the awesome rating and comments. As always, they are deeply appreciated.

    With gratitude

You sure do know how to present a story for maximum impact. That ultrasound is a nightmare in it own right. I'd sure hate to pull that tyke out. Very good take. Very spooky.

Hi Dean

"... they've taken my baby, where's my baby. Let me see him, is he cute? Where's the doctor? Is he handsome ... does he look like his dad? What about a smile? He probably needs to feed ... oh, to have him suckle on my breast for the first time ..."

"Where is my baby? Damn it! Dean ... where is my baby? They haven't let me see him yet."

Oooooh! This brings back memories of long term breast feeding. hahahaha! I knew when it was time to stop feeding. Babies have a lot to answer for. lol
Now this instance, for example. BORN WITH TEETH! EEEEEK! This is a chilling as it gets ... and of course I read it in the dark. But I'm not as stoopid as I look ... I'm reviewing it in the daylight. You've done it again!!! You ... you ... monster ... you!

Hahaha, thanks, Lovi. I guess you enjoyed reading it then? Or perhaps "enjoyed" isn't the right word to use, lol.
I deeply appreciate your enthusiasm, however. That's why I created these short snippets of terror to begin with. Hopefully I, along with all of the other wonderful authors who have unselfishly contributed stories of their own, have succeeded.
Thanks so much again for your continuing support of Tiny Tales of Terror. I really appreciate it.

    Hugs!

ENJOY? ... I have to say that I did. Hehe.

Nothing like a good taste of blood and gore, even at the expense of motherhood. :)) Of course I now take a different POV on those once precious moments. I had three sons. They did grow teeth very fast. LOL Great work, and I applaud you creating this book ... now you have me turning towards the dark side ...

    Hugs - Lovi xoxo

You sure know how to cheer me up! The kid with teeth? Thirty two razor sharp teeth! Maybe this kid is from Aliens? Anyway, I love your work, you definitely put a smile on my dial! XX

Hi Dean,

Another great addition to this multi-authored book which is quite substantial now. You created a monster much like the parents in this piece!

Nice tight piece, suitably chilling.
Good stuff.

YucK! I could just visualize this baby. Sounds like something I saw in a horror show. Complications. Doctor with missing hands. This little tyke needs a play date with Rosemary's Baby.

Thanks, Shari. I appreciate your ongoing support of this long-running series of tiny terror tales. I'm very thankful that you enjoyed the story.

Yeah, this kid would be right at home hob-knobbing with Damien (from The Omen), the freaky deformed...thing from the 80's horror flick, "It's Alive!", or Rosemary's baby...no doubt!

Thanks again for weighing in with your comments. It is deeply appreciated.

Really terrific flash piece, Dean. You are able to convey such horror with an economy of words. I think this is one of your strongest talents. So well done!

Very good appetite indeed! Needless to say, lil' innocent babe with a piranha mouth will definitely be bottle-fed...with a titanium bottle! Special delivery right in time for Halloween. Great mix of the gruesome and horrific.

I loved this creepy little thing. Scary as heck but darn funny too. Great idea and I like the short stories. Easy, entertaining read. I'm going to make my sister read it too-she'll love it. She's just on the site to read.

Hahaha, yeah, this one was meant to be a bit more lighthearted and funny than many of the others, JoAnn. You know, just to lighten up the mood a bit? Besides, horror and comedy make for excellent bedfellows. Shaun of the Dead, Return of the Living Dead, and the terror classic, The Evil Dead (the original, not the gory remake!), all have a great deal of humor fused with the horrific scenarios they portray.
Thanks so much for your kind and generous support. I genuinely appreciate your time and your reviews.

Ah, there's nothing like a good flash fiction horror story. Just enough story to let your imagination run wild. The monster in my mind is always ten-times scarier then the words. Terrific job and I will be back soon to read more. I wish I had a six. Have a great day and God bless.

No sixes are ever necessary, Mike, not as long as you enjoyed the story and were entertained. That's really the most important thing.
Thanks for supporting this series of twisted tiny terrors. Me, along with all of the other talented authors who have graciously contributed stories of their own, certainly appreciate it.

    Happy (almost) Halloween.
