Wow. I love the arrogance of Dr. Morales. He thinks he is so superior to everyone else and they will all be dancing to his tune soon. Wonderful character development. I both like him and want to see him get some come up'ings. That is talent.

Hi, Debi. This is one of my favorite reviews yet. I love that insight about Doctor Morales. I believe he is being given a chance to re-think his life. We'll see if he takes the opportunity.

Your generosity and support mean a lot to me Mon Amie.

    Thanks!

Hey, Bev.
Just settling in to read some of my Fanstory faves after a long, hard day & night of editing, and very little reviewing. And of course, you are on my list...:}

"...my emotions swirled like bees in a hive."--Great use of metaphor, Bev. Don't our minds feel this way quite often when we're perplexed about something? I know mine certainly does...quite often, LOL...

Wormholes--those mysterious overlaps of fantasy and reality--time and space-- a place where a third dimension is often said to exist--has always been a concept which fascinates me as well. I could completely relate to Dr. Morales' allure of this phenomenon.

It's really nice to see that Stefano believes he's calling the shots and pulling the strings when it comes to learning all there is to know about Senior Pasquale is concerned. I hate to break the news to the good Dr. but I've got a sneaking suspicion he's dead wrong, no pun intended. Ya' know, we can trick ourselves into believing almost anything if we want to badly enough. In my opinion, that's exactly what Stefano is doing. He's playing right into the conjurer's gnarled hands and he's doesn't even know it.
Another very well written chapter, Bev. I saw absolutely no errors, nor would I change a thing. The dialogue was excellent, the descriptive portrayal of the scenes and places you've chosen to set the stage were executed to perfection. And that bit with the boy on the rusty bicycle...very creepy!

Outstanding writing...
Always with respect
~Dean

Hey, the pleasure's all mine, Bev. As I said, I'm just really glad I got in on the ground floor of this story. I refuse to jump into the middle of an author's story, it just doesn't seem fair to me.

It is an excellent tale with some decidedly dark undertones. I am truly enjoying it.

    Huge Hugs!

Well, Bev, you pulled me in to this story. I'm curious and want to know more. I'm impressed by your knowledge of wormholes and Einstein. I'm no intellect, so don't get too scientific on me lol! Bring on the next chapter :)

Hi, Karyn. Thank you very much for this very generous and encouraging review. I, especially, appreciate your specific insights into the character of Doctor Morales. I'm guessing you've met a few real doctors in your day who are brilliant but couldn't find their way out of paper bag without help LoL.

Fascinating stuff, Bev. It's really different from most of your stuff - the writing style is well suited to the subject. I'm especially interested in how you seem to have morphed into a different person by identifying with this male protagonist. This is really different. Well done, Bev.

Hi, Adrienne. I love your review! Never had the nerve to get on a stage and act, but I like the liberating sense of pretending to be someone different. I appreciate your insights along those lines, as well has your generosity.

This chapter is an interesting addition to your story and you easily hold the reader's attention. And, once again, you have successfully left the reader with more questions than answers.

Great job, Bev. Thanks for sharing this. JW
