Have lost 2 remarkable dogs and your poem evoked all the joy, good times and regret as well, which is exactly what good writing should do. Thank you for sharing your heart. - Relda

This a lovely remembrance of a pet. We can only hope there is doggie heaven. It is well written and describes the love you have for this pet. Lani 2

Lovely poem...so sad. And we lost our Lab last June...he was only nine. I send best wishes and thoughts to you all and I hope Daisy has crossed the Rainbow bridge and is playing with Buddypup. :/ x.

I know what I say will hurt even more. At the beginning of the year r2015 our cat who was 21 +7months died in my arms. He didn't get all dirty and slobbery, and he still had his own teeth. What I am trying to say, Daisy Mae is out of pain. That is about all we who are left behind can know for certain. Regards MaBaker.

Hi Teri7

So sad to hear of Daisy Mae's death. My Chinese silky chicken is named Daisy Mae, after a much earlier death of someone's precious doggie. I wish I could remember who? Was it you who had a dog called Daisy Mae years ago? Sweet memories of this dear dog ... she is where dogs are at peace, and with many friends ... dogs, cats and all the rest of God's magnificent creatures. Well done. Hugs - Lovinia xoxo

Thank you Louvinia. I pray she is at peace now frolicking with all the other little animals that have gone on. hugs, Teri

I'm sure the dear little pet is. Always so sad to loose one of our pets. Most of mine have died of old age, though my favourite cat was run-over (in my quiet little lane). It was a difficult loss. Take care of yourself. Welcome back. Hugs - Lovinia xoxo RIP dear Daisy Mae.

What a heart-rending farewell to a much loved friend and companion. The death of a family pet is always hard to bear. Ours, too, is nearing his end.

I'm so sorry, Teri, to hear of the death of Daisy Mae, it's a hard thing to deal with..our dogs, and cats, are part of any family...and it sad when they become ill and pass away...I had to have my dog "Smoke" put to sleep recently, he was 16 years old, and suffering badly from arthritis, he wasn't able to walk or move around anymore...The Vet said he was in great pain, and finally he just slept away...he was such a wonderful dog, and my daughter was so upset...I wish your family well, and that their memories of Daisy Mae, will help...You put together a nice tribute to her...thanks for sharing..

Blessings,
Victoria
