You were very fortunate to recover your hearing aid. I know they are very expensive, as my dad wears them too. It's fun to look through old letters and postcards.

This is a good story.
--I used to work in a casino as a food server, and several people would leave their dentures on the table and come back looking for them, but I've never had anybody to leave a hearing aid. I'm glad it was found.
Good artwork: The images are great.
The author's notes are greatly appreciated.- Thank you!
Thanks for sharing it.
Good luck with your future writing!

Thanks new friend. glad you enjoyed this. Bene working hard reviewing to get the Funny Money up to put these chapters up for a last time before I Self-publish. This was one chapter that I must have inserted later so not old enough for the Revive Certificate.

You know there is somehing to be said about a not so nice revie, it does get others curious enough to read hat is supposed to be something others would not be interested in.

I am so glad I read your memories, I found them so very interesting, and more than that, very believable.

As I read this chapter I felt as though we were travelling together. You told it as though it was happening right now in real time.

Thanks for sharing, I will watch for further chapters. Plus, when I have time, will go back and read the previous ones.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks very much new friend. Glad to know made reviews can attract attention, hehe. Welcome. This is a re-do of a lot and some new chapters being inserted in an almost, I hope, finished story of my life. Good to know bad reviews get attention hhe. I have added some old Super 8 movies I did 40 years ago, no sound and really crook camera work on some of the new chapters. Appreciate you coming along.

You write clearly, but I wonder if you have thought about your audience. What kind of people do you imagine would want to read your story? Why would they want to read it, especially if they have to pay to read it? I ask because I did not find the writing interesting. I am sure the experiences were important to you, but I did not find the action or the description of places compelling to read. You might try being more selective and using the fictional techniques of strong conflict, vivid details, and exciting action.

Well friend I am glad I have a tremendous lot of support here on Fan Story. Thanks for coming by. people who know me realize this is NOT a Novel Not a fictional work. It is my life story and will probably oly be of interest to a very limited ring of friends and family.Thanks. Bye.

Hello Geoff,
The adventures of Geoff before the adventures with Louise. I didn't know what would follow your conclusion of the two of you traveling. I have only once ridden on a cross country train as a child and have little recall even where my mother was taking my sisters and I.

Well my train trips were solely within our state over 2 weeks, mate. Also adding some ancient Super 8 movies converted to DVD and now on Youtube so hang around. Not real good quality sadly as I was not good with the camera . There are 2 movies on the story I put on other day about the trip to Grawin in my new car in 1974. I wanted to put the movies on FS before but suddenly came to the conclusion the only way I could was on Youtube. Thanks mate.

This sounds like fun. It's always a good reminder of memories when we find old letters. Train is my favorite way of travel. Sadly, republican administrations pretty much closed down all train travel for passengers. There is some between major cities but not everywhere like it used to be.

I enjoyed reading the vivid details of your train trips you had 31 years back. You have been visiting places at regular intervals and I wonder how you remember their details. Your losing the hearing aid in one of the journeys and surprisingly getting it back and playing piano on the train make the travelogue quite interesting.

Hi,

_ More great pix. I bet you have so many from your travels that it is difficult to choose.
_ Losing one's hearing aid--not a good thing.
_ Whew, those puppies are expensive. My aunt has them, and insurance didn't cover them. Very spendy.
_ Thanks for sharing.
