They say moving is one of the most stressful things in life, but totalling a car just beforehand probably doesn't help, either. Still getting double the money for it in the end - well done.
This was very well written and held my interest from start to finish. Nice job. :)

Moving is stressful, Tessa. Fortunately, we had another car so that didn't pose any problems. Thanks for commenting on my skill and on the interest level.

Properly dealing with family members can be a touchy situation in many cases, especially if you are not particularly close to them, as you may want to be. This well written story depicts some these pitfalls experienced.

Thanks, Brett. I've learned from so many in my 50+ community that this seems to be a universal problem!

This was very well written, my friend, just like all of them. It was interesting too. The part about having your car sold and then having an accident was a bummer for sure. I sure hate moving. I swore that Marcia and I will never move again. There will be a WAR, if anyone tries to get us to move. And yes, I completely agree that it's cool to have grand kids, so you can send them back home. Ha! Best wishes, my goof friend.

Glad you enjoyed my reactions to the things going on in my life.

A slice into your life. It was entertaining and well written. But for a retired teacher I found it amusing that you wrote Toyota Corollo... I do believe it's Corolla.
Come on, I'm a ninth grade drop out.
Really it just goes to show, typos happen to the best of us. And your writing is excellent. Hope you're enjoying retirement.

Whoops! A typo is was. How embarrassing. Happens mostly when I make last minute changes. I love retirement and sleeping in late. :-)
